Taking a Blogging Break…

Hi all,

I’ve decided that I’m going to take a break for roughly a month or so to shift my priorities.  One thing I’ve learned (and that I’m still learning) is that I can multitask, but that doesn’t mean that I’m very good at it.  In other words, I work best and help others best when I focus my energies on as few things as possible.

With that said, here’s what I’m going to focus on while I take a blog break:

  • Writing another book – As many of you know, I released my first book this year.  I am working on another book at this very moment, so I want to focus on it and make it really good and really helpful
  • Speaking engagements – God has recently blessed me with the opportunity to speak to a couple of groups recently about healthy living.  It gives me a chance to reach out to folks more, so I want to explore these opportunities more
  • 5K Prep – A former coworker of mine ran the Labor Day Road Race in 21:26 about 30 years ago.  He said I would never be able to do it, so I want to dial down my training even more so that I can show that I can indeed do it (my previous best time with this race is approximately 24:50)
  • SnS – My brother and I are endeavoring on a musical challenge/experiment, if you will.  He is a keyboard player, and I am a drummer.  As we both have families, businesses and full-time jobs (among other responsibilities), we never can seem to find enough time to practice our crafts, and yet, we feel that because we’ve been given these talents, we have a responsibility to develop them
  • Releasing the FOR REAL This Time 8-Week Workout/Diet Program – This program has been under testing from some of my YHATC subscribers for about 7 weeks now, and I project that I will be releasing the program for sale in October.  People are getting stronger and losing weight…one participant informed me of 12 lbs lost about a week ago.  Cool, cool stuff

So yes, these are the things I’ll be focusing on for a bit.  I’m not leaving though, so stay tuned!
